This day was a biggie, both emotionally and travel-wise. As you know, one of the purposes of this trip was to see some of the places where my maternal grandparents grew up. A truly wonderful facet of this trip has been spending time with the grandkids (all my age!) of my grandfather's brother, Ole Andreas Nordnes. Ole's eldest son, Kristian, had 4 children, Astrid, Oddvar, Øystein, and Per Kristian and, on this day, we spent time with ALL of them! We had more fun than should be legal! But, first things first.
In the morning, Astrid, Svein, Ivan and I had an early breakfast, then Svein elected to stay home fixing various things around the house while the rest of us went off to the ferry to Levang and Leirfjord where we were to meet up with Oddvar.
