This is typical of this area. Can you imagine growing up on a farm situated somewhere with views like this? OK, ok, I know one never appreciates the beauty of where one lives when one is a child, but I certainly enjoyed imagining my Bestemor growing up here. This area is called Valla - I hope she liked it too.
Oddvar seems to have a serious case of addiction to ancestry research because he has no reason to look into my Bestemor's side of the family, yet he spent quite a bit of time on her branch of my family. He declared that he had a lot of fun doing it and I can certainly understand that! I'm grateful to him for all his efforts.
