Ivan and I will be visiting these places: Oslo, Bergen, Mo i Rana (way up north), Trondheim, Lund (in Sweden just north and a bit east of Malmö), and Copenhagen. In Mo i Rana, we'll be meeting and staying with the granddaughter of my maternal grandfather's brother. OK, rest a minute. If anyone knows what that relationship is called, please let me know! In another post, I'll describe my Norwegian ancestry and will, if I can, show some wonderful old photos. I have never been to Norway, so we're anticipating a good adventure. Of course, it goes without saying that we'll also be looking at/for birds everywhere we go.
